Over the last several months, I have written about my personal experiences with long-term care as well as aspects of the culture change movement which began in the early 1990s.

Energy efficient practice creates a warm, safe, and comfortable environment, allowing Residents to be literally and figuratively open up to those around them. Once open to their environment, our Residents become active and engaged in their community, allowing sustainable practice to fundamentally support our belief in Resident empowerment. |
