Elite Care Seed Saving Work Shop

Saturday, September 25, 2010 - 10:30am - 12:00pm

Elite Care Seed Saving Workshop!  -  Saturday, September 25th, 10:30am – 12pm

Historically, humans have benefited from an extraordinary diversity of plant species and cultivars.  Seed saving encourages this diversity, preserves a tradition of cultivating heirloom gardens and allows an opportunity to share your garden legacy with a neighbor or the extended community.

Please join us in the Cascade building for a hands-on learning experience of this relatively easy and satisfying process!

·       Various edible crops and beneficial garden flowers will be introduced.

·       Learn proper timing and techniques for successful germination rates!

·       Discover seed saving materials from the “high-tech” to basic items found in your own kitchen.
